FP Analyzer - Groundbait Mixes

How MyFeeder Works

Groundbait in FP is built from three sliders that must total 100%: a Base (bulk of the cloud), an Aroma (scent attractor), and a Particle (visual + texture that holds fish). Each combination produces a mix with a target-species bias, attraction radius, and dwell time.

The "balanced 60/15/25" baseline - works as a default for most species before tuning.

Quick Rules of Thumb

Base should always be the majority (50-65%) - it's the carrier for everything else
Aroma 10-25% - more = faster pull, shorter duration; less = slow but lasting attraction
Particle 20-30% - holds fish in zone once they arrive; too low and they swim off after feeding
Aroma + Particle combined should be 35-50% of the mix
Match aroma to water temp: Sweet (Caramelized, Sweet Cracker, Molasses) for warm; amino-acid (CSL Cyclo Shrimp) for cold/night
Re-feed every 45-90 in-game min to maintain the cloud - don't set-and-forget

🐟 Carp Recipes WEEPING WILLOW, TIBER, LESNÍ VÍLA, SJD

Carp (Common, Mirror, Crucian, Amur, Prussian, Grass) respond best to sweet aromas and hemp-corn particles in warm-water European-style fisheries.

Amino-acid aroma works when sweet flavors fail in cold or low-light water. Oilcake Pele holds fish longer than Hemp-Corn at night.

      Missing particle types: You only have 2 particles  -  Hemp-Corn and Oilcake Pele. Most carp meta recommends pellets or crushed boilies as a third option; both may be unlocked via further carp-DLC or level progression. Not blocking  -  Hemp-Corn is the correct default for 90% of mixes.
    

Deployment Tactics

Method Feeder

Pack groundbait tightly around the feeder cage - should be compressed, not loose
Cast to your spot and let sit 10+ in-game min before expecting first bite
Hook bait sits near or inside the groundbait cluster - fish investigate the cloud and find the hook
Re-cast every 45-90 in-game min with a fresh pack - don't just let it sit empty after the cloud dissipates

PVA Bag

Drop 3-5 PVA bags at your hook distance before casting your hook bait
Classic carp pre-baiting - builds a "bed" of groundbait at your spot
Works best for long-session sits (3+ hours) where fish graze over time
Cold-water variant: replace sweet aromas with CSL Cyclo Shrimp for better penetration

ChumChest / Spod Deployment

Use ChumChest Lux or ChumChest XL to deploy loose groundbait to spots beyond feeder-casting range
Ideal for 4-rod-stand spreads - one "attractor" cluster feeds multiple hooks
Confirmed tactic at SJD: Rusty Cage Feeder + Grand Fish Feeder groundbait concentrates sturgeon near the rod spread

      When in doubt: Start with the 60 / 15 / 25 balanced ratio for your target species. Adjust based on session length:
      Short (1-2 hrs): Bump aroma to 20-25% for fast pull
Medium (2-3 hrs): Keep 60/15/25 baseline
Long (3+ hrs): Drop aroma to 10%, bump base to 65%
Cold water: Swap sweet aromas → CSL Cyclo Shrimp
Fish arrive but don't bite: Bump particle to 30% to hold them in zone
